  5. The  \textreferencefont  command  is  always   used  in  conjunction  with  the
  6. \footnoteformat  (\fnf) command,  and  will determine  the  font  in which  the
  7. footnote  reference numbers  in  the  text are  printed.   The  format for  the
  8. \textreferencefont command is:

  10.           \footnoteformat{                                                     
  11.           \textreferencefont{xx}                                               
  12.           }                                                                    
  13.                                                                                
  14. Where "xx" is some font designations such as \bf, \it, \littlefont, etc.
